IRATA level L2 is suitable for those who are certified at IRATA level L1 and would like to take their qualification to the next level. The L2 level course includes learning and practicing rigging, rescue and more complex rope access skills in the training program.
IRATA L2 level technician carry out work under the supervision of IRATA L3.
Requirements:
- no health contraindications to training and carrying out work at height when upgrading to L2 level qualification
- a minimum of one year’s experience as an L1 level technician
- at least 1,000 hours as an L1 level technician, documented in a logbook
- a correctly completed logbook on the first day of training
- theoretical and practical knowledge of L1 level techniques
- a valid IRATA L1 certificate is required on the day of the L2 level assessment
